Jammu Tawi, Feb 06: Traffic shall ply from Jammu towards Srinagar on the national highway tomorrow, officials said Saturday.
Traffic authorities said: “The traffic will run from Jammu towards Srinagar on Sunday, and no vehicle from opposite direction will be allowed to move.”
Traffic Plan on February 6 on Srinagar-Jammu national highway, traffic authorities in their communiqué had said, “subject to fair weather and better road condition, only one way traffic shall be allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar including Ramban-Banihal(local traffic) on Jammu-Srinagar NHW. ”
Meanwhile, Mughal road, connecting Shopian and Poonch districts, also remained closed due to the heavy snowfall in the region. Meteorological department has predicted dry weather for next week.
