People are encouraged to stay covered, wear loose garments, cover their heads with traditional headgear during exposure to direct heat, stay indoors as much as possible, and follow local weather updates on TV and newspapers.

Additional attention is advised for infants and young children, people working outdoors, pregnant women, and the physically ill, especially heart patients. They are advised to avoid heat exposure and stay indoors. Farmers are also advised to avoid working in the fields during the daytime and recommend irrigation during the evening to save crops.
