Heartbreaking Tragedy Strikes in North Kashmir Village as Son Takes Mother’s Life


The peaceful village of Hadipora in Baramulla district of North was rocked by a devastating tragedy recently. According to reports, a local woman lost her life at the hands of her own son in a shocking turn of events.

Details indicate the unfortunate incident occurred late Sunday night/early Monday morning at a home in Hadipora village of Rafiabad. The victim, a woman in her late 40s whose name has not been publicly released, was attacked with a sharp object by her son identified as Amir Wani, a driver by profession.

Tragically, all efforts to save the woman failed and she succumbed to her injuries. Her body was sent to the Sub District Hospital in Sopore for medico-legal formalities. Police swung into action immediately and arrested the primary accused, Amir Wani, within hours of the horrible .

An official case has been filed at the local police station in Dangiwacha as police continue examining the circumstances surrounding the heartrending killing. The tight-knit community remains in a state of shock and grief over the devastating loss of a fellow neighbor.
