Poonch, Aug 10: The Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesday said that they have seized over ₹ 25 lakh Hawala money from two persons near the Line of Control in Poonch district Of Jammu Division .
An official informed that the police arrested two persons near the LoC in Kanga Bhooti area of Poonch and seized around Rs. 25, 81,500/- Hawala money meant for militant financing.
He said that the accused have been arrested and FIR No. 305/2021 under section 17,18,40 ULAPA /120B IPC has been registered at PS Mendhar.
The official said that further investigation into the case was going on.
