JAMMU, Jun 4: The Jammu and Kashmir Government has reconstituted the High Power Vigilance and Monitoring Committee to oversee the implementation of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, across the Union Territory.
As per an order, the committee will be headed by Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, with Ministers Incharge Finance and Social Welfare Department among other dignitaries as Members.
