In the fight against terrorism backed by rogue country Pakistan all breakthroughs whether small or big do matter a lot because every step against violence mongers has the potential to dent the terror ecosystem prevailing in the Union Territory since 1990.
After the inception of BJP Government led by PM Narendra Modi in 2014, the graph of terrorism has consistently seen a fall in terrorist activities and today one can say that the terrorism is on its last leg and the terror acts which are being witnessed are the handiwork of those forming the remnants of this scourge which dragged the region back in the last several decades. As the Kashmir policy by the Modi government has worked efficiently in restoring peace and realizing development, people today are waiting for a total end of terrorism as much has been achieved in this direction.
Taking the instance of last few days, security forces are busy in different parts of J&K to wipe out traces of terrorists as search operations are underway in Poonch, Basantgarh and other places as well besides a big breakthrough in Reasi's Kot Budhan forest where these forces recovered one Improvised Explosive Device (IED) along with other arms and ammunition. Besides the IED, the security forces also recovered 9 electric detonator, 3 Pistols, 3 Magazines, 20 Pistol rounds, 1 kg explosives (Powder Type), 15 AK 47 rounds, 6 AK 47 Fired cases, eight 8.9 Volt DC Batteries, three Lithium Ion 12 volt Batteries, 3 Electric wire Bundles (Approx 50 mtr), 10 AA Bty (1.2 V), 6 Magnet Big Size, and 7 Explosive Safety Fuse, besides other things.
In the same context, the security forces have also got success in the Basantgarh terror case because one over ground worker involved in providing logistic support to foreign terrorists has been apprehended and it is likely that more leads will follow.
All said and done, every such breakthrough in the terror related cases hold much significance because this helps in uprooting terrorism and tightening the noose around those involved in anti-national acts.
Going by this vital fact, the people should also ponder and never leave a chance to provide any clue to security forces or other government agencies which might prove helpful in containing terror as people in J&K have already faced misery for long and therefore wiping out terrorism as soon as possible is the need of the time.
