Jammu, Apr 07: A five-day long refresher course for Physical Education Masters (PEMs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs), REK's and NYC's of Zone Jourian and Khour, organised by the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) at Government Girls High School, Jourian, concluded today.
The refresher course took place under the chairmanship of District Youth Services and Sports Officer, Jammu, Sukhdev Raj Sharma and conducted under the supervision of Zonal Physical Education Officers of Zone Jourian, Kumari Ranji and Zone Khour, Usha Fotedar.
Headmaster, GGHS Jourian, Madam Lal was the chief guest, who felicitated the participants in the disciplines of Athletics, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball and Softball.
The course was organised for the field staff so as to increase their efficiency and enable them to learn new skills, techniques, rules of the games.
Over 70 participants attended the course under the guidance of panel of experts and resource persons from the department.
