On Saturday, suspected militants targeted security forces in the Nowgam region of Srinagar, leaving a trooper injured.
One CRPF trooper received a bullet wound in his leg during the attack, after which he was moved to a hospital for treatment.
According to some news agency reported that militants fired upon 29 Battalion of CRPF.
The whole area has been cordoned off to nab the militants, they said.
