Cop decamps with service rifle of BJP leader’s security guard

A police man has reportedly gone missing after decamping with the service rifle of security guard of a BJP leader in .
Reports said that Waseem Ahmed Malla, one of the policemen guarding the house of BJP Kisan Morcha Kashmir, Muhammad Maqbool Var went missing after he stole the service rifle of Var's Personal Security Officer Shamshad Ahmed.
While confirming the incident, BJP media secretary Altaf Thakur said that Muhammad Maqbool Var is a senior party leader. A police official said that they have started investigation and launched a manhunt to trace the absconding constable. (CNS)
