Later talking to reporters at the conclusion of the dharna, Patil said that the Modi government has been totally insensitive to the protests of the farmers for the past ten months and now they are being crushed in roads and no timely action is taken.
The entire country is witness to this hostile attitude and approach of the BJP and it is following Supreme Court intervention that some action was initiated but why the union MOS Home has not been sacked so far, she questioned.
Earlier addressing the gathering, Mir said that this is for first time in the history that the way UP government and police invited a person through summon to the son of the BJP minister in Modi government in a serious case of murder.
