Cong pays tributes to Dr. B R Ambedkar

    Srinagar, Apr 14 (KNO): Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) on Wednesday paid tributes to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, recalling his selfless services and great contributions in Nation building.

    JKPCC president Ghulam Ahmad Mir as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) remembered Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedka on Ambedkar Jayanti and paid rich tributes to the father of Indian constitution.

    Mir said Dr. Ambedkar was instrumental in drafting India constitution, which stands guaranteeing equal rights to every colour and religion living in the country, besides giving them freedom of speech.

    Dr. Ambedkar has taught us to stand on our own feet and fight best as we can for our rights, which will continue to instill confidence among all Indians, Mir added and said the best way to observe Dr.Ambedkar’s Jayanti was to follow his foot-prints, strengthen and respect the constitution, which takes care of urges and aspirations of every section and religion living in the country.

    Meanwhile, Srinagar District Congress committee in a workers meeting paid glowing tributes to Dr. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary.

    Remembering Dr. Ambedkar on his birth anniversary, Congress leaders present in the meeting, termed him (father of Indian Constitution) a symbol of unique culture of multiplicity, whose contributions in Nation building were immense, will continue to lead all Indians at the path of peace and development, DCC added and said the Constitution of India gives equal rights to all Indian citizens, laying emphasizes over further strengthen the Constitution—(KNO)
