Change of narrative infuses confidence

Date:

What India was supposed to do long back, has finally come up with an anti-terrorist strike at their home ground in Pakistan Occupied part of . The Indian Army has conducted surgical strikes on terror launch-pads across the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan in a mid-night operation and Army claimed to have destroyed seven terrorist training camps and of causing significant causalities.

The motive of this operation, as explained, was to hit out at the terrorists who were planning to infiltrate into our territory. Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lt-General Ranbir Singh said on Thursday in a joint press conference with officials from the ministry of external affairs announced that a commando operation was launched late midnight and all the commandos returned safe after executing four and a half hour operation.

Taking a rigid stance in denial mode, the Pakistani Army admitted that two of its soldiers were killed in an exchange of fire with Indian forces across the LoC in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.

It is unfortunate for the people of Pakistan for leadership crisis as the country failed to produce a mature, visionary public leader who could come to the terms with the ground realities in Pakistan and make an of peace and progress over the politics of hatred against India and rhetoric of ‘Kashmir Banega Pakistan.' Instead of developing economic resources for self reliance, it had always preferred to sustain on foreign alms and aids by playing politics over the prevailing territorial and strategical conflicts in the region. It never responded positively to the hand of friendship extended by India.

It has been a matter of serious concern that there have been many infiltration bids by terrorists at LoC and elsewhere openly supported by Pakistan and the facts have been accepted worldwide. Many terrorists killed were hailing from Pakistan and captured terrorists also confessed to training in PoK and on its soil. Ample proofs of Pak establishment's involvement in acts of terror in India were handed over to the Pakistan authorities but they never accepted these evidences.

Despite persistently urging Pakistan to not allow territory under its control to be used for terrorist activities, nothing was done rather it has made counter accusations on India. Attacks on Parliament, Pune Bakery, Mumbai, Akhshardham, Kaluchak, TRC Srinagar, Udhampur, Pathankot and finally

Finally, adamant Pakistan met its Waterloo at Uri and India decided to respond appropriately with punitive strikes early on Thursday.

The most important message has gone to the Pakistan, her Friends and community that India's patience has overstretched and she has been forced to change her narratives so far her security it concerned.

This initiative has also given a boost to the sagging morale of the Indians who have become used to witness the ultimate docility of its leadership all the time after every terror strike. The operation has given a real time test to the capacity and preparedness of our Armed Forces and also re-established their confidence in them and leadership for standing behind them.

Indian Army has announced that it was a specific operation and it does not plan to continue with such strikes but the forces are ready for any contingency.

It is upto Pakistan to realize the gravity of situation and futility of her agenda of hostilities against India as the later has now started its reactions which will proved very costly for Pakistan.
