Katra (Reasi), Dec 20: Police on Thursday booked former Member Parliament Ch. Lal Singh under section 192, 196, 351 (2), 352 and 356 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) on complaint of local MLA Baldev Sharma who accused Ch. Lal Singh and his supporters for intimidating his person and property and harming his reputation while the later gave provocative statements at Katra on 27.11.2024. Sharma also accused Ch Lal Singh for provoking his supporters and people to cause a riot with intent to disturb public peace and social harmony in the town.
An FIR 0311 dated 19.12.2024 has been registered against Ch. Lal Singh at Police Station Katra, under section 192, 196, 351 (2), 352 and 356 of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS)
