Congress veteran leader Shashi Tharoor reacted on United Nations reports on , said that “UN Human Rights Commission has to do its job and we have to do ours. If info is inaccurate, it's our duty as a government to point it out. There have been issues and violence in Kashmir and perhaps also in response human rights violations.” Today, the Indian Government rejected a UNHRC office report that alleged widespread rights abuse by the Indian armed forces on both sides of the Line of Control (LoC) and called for an investigation into such ‘instances'.
