Blockbuster Epic ‘Kalki 2898 AD' to premiere on Streaming Platforms from this Week
One of the most awaited films of the year, ‘Kalki 2898 AD' starring Rebel Star Prabhas is all set to have its digital premiere this week. After smashing box office records with over Rs. 1000 crores in global ticket sales, fans can now enjoy the cinematic spectacle from the comfort of their homes.
Streaming giants Netflix and Prime Video announced the digital release dates of the film in different regional versions. As per the updates, the Hindi version will be available to viewers on Netflix from August 20th. While the Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam versions can be streamed on Amazon Prime Video from August 22nd onwards.
The director expressed his happiness over a wider audience getting to experience the film's theme of hope, destiny and the battle between good and evil through a global platform like Netflix. Prabhas too stated that the movie pushes creative boundaries and the OTT premiere will allow people worldwide to witness its innovative vision.
Featuring a stellar ensemble cast including megastars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan apart from Deepika Padukone, ‘Kalki 2898 AD' presented an epic tale of a mysterious object set in the 3000 B.C time period.
