Awareness prog on vaccination launched

Jammu Tawi: EngenderHealth, YP Foundation collaborates with Peoples' Hut Foundation for Covid vaccination awareness program in Jammu. SDM Jammu (N) Pawan Kotwal, Tarun Uppal, Dr. Rohit Koul launches Covid vaccination awareness program in Jammu, here today. The project is supported by the World Health Organization (WHO) India, being run in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW). Pertinent to mention that People's Hut Foundation, NGO registered with Government of India and Niti Aayog is working in the domains of Health, Education and Relief is taking up the campaign in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir to create COVID-19-awareness around the importance of getting vaccinated by stating facts & busting myths and encourage vaccination while decreasing vaccine hesitancy, among 5000 households. People's Hut Foundation's volunteers would be going door to door and giving verbal awareness and distributing Sanjeevani Kits (COVID-19-awareness pamphlets and COVID-19-protective-gear), during the timeline September – October, 2021. The Campaign is being implemented in 11 States/UTs during the period April to October, 2021. The campaign is also leveraging digital platforms to reach masses.
