New Delhi, Jan 20: The Motorcycle Rider Display Team “Daredevils” of the Indian Army set a remarkable World Record on January 20, 2025, at Kartavya Path, New Delhi, for the highest human pyramid formed on moving motorcycles. The formation, standing at an impressive height of 20.4 feet, was achieved with 40 men across seven motorcycles, covering a distance of 2 kilometers from Vijay Chowk to India Gate.
The Daredevils, part of the Corps of Signals, have a storied history of excellence, with this latest achievement marking their 33rd World Record. This includes records in the Guinness Book of World Records, Asia Book of Records, and the Limca Book of Records.
The team was greeted at India Gate by the Signals Fraternity, including Lieutenant General KV Kumar, Head of the Corps of Signals, who expressed pride and admiration for the Daredevils’ extraordinary feat. The performance continues to highlight the skill and discipline of the Indian Army, as the team has captivated audiences at prestigious events like Republic Day Parades, Army Day Parades, and Military Tattoos since its establishment in 1935.
In another significant development, approximately 10,000 special guests will attend the 76th Republic Day Parade on January 26, 2025, at Kartavya Path, as part of the government’s initiative to boost public participation in national events. Guests include prominent figures from various fields, self-help group members, and individuals who have contributed to government schemes and national development. The initiative aims to honor those making significant contributions in areas like income generation, environmental protection, and public health.
