Ganderbal, May, 31: Security forces on Monday busted a hideout and recovered a cache of ammunition during a search operation at a forest area in Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.
A police official told that Special Operation Group (SOG) and Army’s 24 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in Shaginash Urpash forests of Ganderbal district and recovered a cache of ammunition.
The forces recovered one Chinese pistol magazine, 11 magazines of AK-47 rifle, six rounds of pistol, 597 bullets of AK-47 rifle and 12 UBGL rounds and one pouch, he said.
He said a case has been registered in this regard and further investigation has been started.
