Jammu, 20 June: Reports from sources in the administration say that the mobile internet services shall be snapped starting 4 am tomorrow, June 21, 2016 morning in whole Jammu Province. As of now the services are to be stopped for a few hours but can extend till further orders.
This is being done for entire Jammu region as a precautionary measure to contain rumor spreading pertaining to Poonch Communal Issue.
The network operators have reportedly received instructions to suspend the mobile internet services across Jammu Province.
When a question was posed to the Deputy Commissioner Jammu on the issue, he said “there is no such decision reached, but cannot be ruled out”.
