DDC interacts with civil society members

District Development Commissioner, Dr Sagar Dattatray Doifode today convened an interaction meet with the civil society members of the district to get feedback about issues of public importance.
The meeting was attended by people from cross section of society, heads of various social organizations, besides elected committee members of Reasi Municipal Committee.
Among others present were Additional Deputy Commissioner, Rajinder Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Harbans Sharma, Assistant Commissioner Development, Sunil Sharma and CEO Municipality Dr Jagdish Mehra.
Detailed discussions were held on various issues like traffic management, blacktopping and maintenance of roads, solid waste management, removal of encroachment, creation of parking area, augmentation of Water Supply, promotion of , and check on overloading of commercial vehicles.
The speakers during interaction with the DDC appreciated the steps initiated by the district administration and also assured their cooperation to the district administration in its endeavors.
The DDC, while underlining the role of civil society in ensuring a proactive and participative administration, sought their cooperation in dealing with vital issues of public importance. He assured that all the development issues would be addressed at the earliest. He stressed on holding similar meetings in future to maintain the develop a good rapport between the administration and the public.
