MLC Vibodh Gupta remembered and paid rich tributes to martyr Khudiram Bose in an event organised by Ragu Rishi Kendar School Bakhar. Vibodh briefed student about the life story of Khudiram and said he sacrificed his life for the beloved motherland at the tender age of eighteen, making him one of the youngest revolutionaries of India. Principal Anita Devi extended warm welcome to MLC Vibodh Gupta and thanked him for encouraging such programmes. She committed to organise anniversaries of Indian freedom fighters in future as well. MLC was accompanied by Sarpanch Bakhar Naresh Chib. MLC appealed teacher community to teach and make students read about such great-men from the very childhood. Such revolutionaries walked an extra mile and even sacrificed their life for independence of nation and therefore deserve to have special place in our heart but the responsibility to apprise students about these great revolutionaries lies in the shoulder of teachers. He further asked them to organise easy writings, discussions and special classes to commemorate their anniversaries. He said India has a great youth potential and if channelled in the right direction it will emerge as a great boon. He appealed youngsters to keep themselves aloof from drugs and other bad habits and idealise real heroes like Khudiram and not reel heroes. Interacting with small students, MLC narrated short stories of many other revolutionaries and asked them to draw inspiration from their achievements.
