Jammu, Jan 31: Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena has relieved two IAS officers to enable their posting in the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, official sources said on Friday.
The officers relieved include Anjali Sehrawat and Kumar Abhishek, who were serving in key positions under the Delhi Government. The move is part of the administrative process to facilitate their joining in Jammu and Kashmir.
Anjali Sehrawat, a 2013-batch IAS officer, was posted as Director, Higher Education, and also held additional charge as Director, Tourism, Transport and Trade (TT&E) in Delhi. Kumar Abhishek, a 2016-batch IAS officer, was serving as Deputy Commissioner, Outer North Delhi.
Sources said that both officers are expected to report for duty in Jammu and Kashmir by the end of the first week of February.
