JAMMU, Jan 4: A Railway Protection Force (RPF) constable sustained serious injuries after his service weapon accidentally went off at Kathua Railway Station in Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday.
The injured constable, identified as Dinesh Kumar, suffered a grievous shoulder injury when the firearm misfired while he was on duty late Saturday night. He was rushed by colleagues to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital, Kathua, for treatment. (Agencies)
