SRINAGAR, Sep 17: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Wednesday virtually inaugurated a Bailey Bridge on the Ramban-Gool road, calling it a lifeline for nearly 1.5 lakh residents of Ramban, Sangaldan, and Gool areas.
In a post on X, Sinha said the bridge will significantly improve connectivity, ease of living, and provide relief to people hit by recent natural calamities that damaged infrastructure and disrupted the vital route.
He praised Army engineers for building the bridge under challenging conditions. “This Bailey Bridge is a testament to the expertise, commitment, and service of the Indian Army. The vital connectivity has given new hope to the entire region,” he said.
