Jammu, August 17: The Army held a core group meeting at the Nagrota-based White Knight Corps to review the security situation in Jammu region, officials said on Sunday.
The meeting, chaired late Saturday by Northern Army Commander Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, was attended by senior officials from the Army, Police, CRPF, and other security agencies.
In a post on X, the Northern Command said: “Lt Gen Pratik Sharma, Army Commander, Northern Command, chaired a Core Group Security Review meeting at Nagrota with senior officials of the Army, Police, CRPF and other security agencies.”
The Army Commander also commended the synergy between various security forces in maintaining peace and security in the region.
