Jammu Tawi, July 11: Jammu Crime Branch has booked a policeman, teacher and anganwadi worker for securing government jobs by using fake documents following which three separate cases were registered.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Crime Branch, Jammu, Benam Tosh here today said that FIR has been registered against Jammu and Kashmir Sub Inspector Mohinder Paul, presently posted in IRP 4th Bn, resident of Upper Nonial, Tehsil Nowshera, District Rajouri on a written complaint of Sita Ram of Nowshera, District Rajouri for securing job in Police department JKAP in 1995 by using fake educational qualification documents as contents of the complaint, departmental enquiry report and preliminary verification report prima-facie revealed commission of cognizable offence.
SSP Tosh further said that on a written complaint of Bachan Lal of Suchetgarh , Crime Branch also registered a case against Govind Kumar of Village Khamb, R S Pura for getting job in J&K School Education Department as ReT Teacher in 2004 by using fake and forged Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) and subsequently getting confirmed as permanent Teacher.
Meanwhile in a separate case, he said that a written complaint was received from Khursheed Ahmed Naik of Khari , Ramban in which the complainant alleged that Ghulam Hassan Naik and his daughter Shakeela Bano, both residents of village Khari, Tehsil Khari, District Ramban having date of birth as 06-12-1966 is a government Teacher, Shakeela Bano having date of birth as 01-01-1976 is employed as Anganwadi Worker, father and daughter have an age difference of nine years and 26 days only.
The complainant further alleged that Shakeela Bano is illiterate and in order to get her selected as Anganwadi Worker (AWW), her father manipulated, tampered the school records of Shakeela Bano thereby committing forgery.
The Crime Branch has registered a case against individuals and others on the basis of the contents of the complaint and preliminary verification report.
The SSP said that three separate cases have been registered at Police Station Crime Branch (EOW) Jammu and investigations started.
