2 more Hurriyat groups abandon separatism, reaffirm trust in Modi’s Vision: HM Shah

New Delhi, Mar 27: Union Home Minister Amit Shah announced on Thursday that two more constituents of the Jammu and Kashmir-based Hurriyat Conference have abandoned separatism and pledged their faith in the vision of a unified India under Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

This development follows similar announcements made just two days prior by the Jammu and Kashmir People’s Movement (JKPM) and Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement (JKDPM), who also severed ties with separatism.

Shah emphasized that under the leadership of PM Modi, separatism in the region is fading, and the triumph of unity is resonating across Kashmir. He shared the news on X, stating, “Another great news from Kashmir Valley. Two more groups affiliated with the Hurriyat, namely J&K Tahreeqi Isteqlal and J&K Tahreek-I-Istiqamat, have discarded separatism and reposed their trust in the new Bharat built by PM Shri @narendramodi Ji.”

This shift marks a significant step towards peace and integration in the region.
