Sadguru Madhuparamhans delivers sermons to devotees on Poornima

Jammu Tawi:  Sadguru Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj, in his enlightening discourses at the Ranjdi congregation today, emphasized the universal similarities that bind all human beings, regardless of religion or caste. He shared that all people, irrespective of their background, possess the same basic human traits – two eyes, five fingers on each hand, and the ability to experience hunger, thirst, happiness, and sadness. “We are all the same mentally,” said the revered spiritual leader, “Everyone feels love for their children, experiences anger, lust, and ego.”

Delving deeper into human nature, Sadguru Ji explained that humans are like puppets, often controlled by an opposing inner force. This force, which is the mind, directs our actions and decisions, making us its puppets. He elaborated that the mind, or ‘Kaal,’ leads us towards destruction, and it is the mind that governs all our activities. According to Sadguru Ji, emotions like anger, greed, and attachment are not inherent to the soul but are products of the mind’s influence.

“The soul is pure and unique, but all humans, even great sages like Narada, fell prey to the mind’s grip,” said Sadguru Ji. He highlighted that the mind is an unknown power, difficult to comprehend and control. Just like electricity released from a power plant reaches its limit, the mind’s influence can direct human actions towards sin and attachment.

Sadguru Ji further elaborated that although many seek freedom from this influence, they too remain trapped by the mind’s control. In such a situation, liberation can only be achieved through the power of the true name of the Sadguru. He likened the attraction of the mind to the gravity of the Earth, which pulls everyone in the same direction. “Only through the true name can the soul be freed from the mind’s grip and ascend to its eternal home in Amar Lok.”

The divine teachings of Sadguru Madhuparamhans Ji Maharaj call for a deeper understanding of the mind’s influence and the importance of connecting with the true name to attain spiritual liberation.
