NIA chargesheets two aides of Khalistani Terrorist Landa

New Delhi, Dec 18: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against two associates of Khalistani terrorist Lakhbir Singh alias Landa, in connection with a terror conspiracy case in Punjab. The chargesheet, filed on Tuesday before the NIA Special Court in Mohali, accuses Jaspreet Singh from Ferozepur, Punjab, and Baljeet Singh from Barwani, Madhya Pradesh, of being key members of Landa’s terror network.

Jaspreet Singh is identified as a crucial on-ground operative for Landa and his associate Pattu Khaira, while Baljeet Singh was involved in supplying weapons to Landa’s gang and other criminal groups. Investigations revealed that Jaspreet Singh was part of Landa’s drug trafficking and extortion operations to fund the banned Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). Baljeet Singh, on the other hand, manufactured weapons locally and used social media to supply arms to the gang.

The NIA’s probe also uncovered evidence of weapons, ammunition, narcotics, drug money, and digital devices, all seized from the accused. The chargesheet highlights the growing threat posed by Landa’s network and the continued efforts of law enforcement to dismantle terror financing and arms smuggling operations across the country.
