Srinagar, Nov 13: An encounter erupted between terrorists and security forces on Wednesday in the Badimarg area of Yaripora, located in Kulgam district, South Kashmir.
Officials said a joint team of security forces, acting on specific intelligence regarding the presence of terrorists, launched a cordon and search operation in the area. As the forces approached the suspected location, the terrorists opened fire, prompting security personnel to retaliate, which triggered a gunfight.
