Governor clarifies no differences with Himachal govt, says misunderstanding cleared

    Date:

The Governor of Pradesh, Shiv Pratap Shukla has clarified that there are no differences between his office and the state government. In a recent press interaction, Governor Shukla eased concerns of a rift by stating that the Chief Minister has clarified the situation regarding an alleged pending file.

It was reported last week that Minister Chander Kumar had accused the Raj Bhavan of delaying approval of a file to appoint the Vice Chancellor of Palampur Agriculture University. However, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu has since updated Governor Shukla that the communication in question was actually with the Law Secretary for several months.

Governor Shukla welcomed the clarification from CM Sukhu, acknowledging it resolved any misunderstanding. He highlighted how prompt coordination between all arms of governance is important. The Governor also expressed concerns about rising drug addiction in the state and called for collective efforts to curb the problem, especially among youth.

Closely following developments, Governor Shukla discussed preparedness for the upcoming monsoon season with CM Sukhu. With recent meetings held between officials, it seems the administration is working to better handle any exigencies caused by heavy rainfall.

Overall, this press interaction by the Governor helps ease previously reported tensions and reassures citizens that the state leadership remains aligned in its work. Continued coordination will be key to smoothly governing Himachal Pradesh.
