The rain caused a significant drop in temperatures across the region, with the maximum temperature in Jammu falling to 38 degrees Celsius and the minimum to 26 degrees Celsius.
In Kathua, the maximum temperature recorded was 41 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 27 degrees Celsius. Samba experienced a maximum of 38 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 26 degrees Celsius.
Katra saw its temperatures drop to a maximum of 34 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 22 degrees Celsius, offering a cooler environment for the residents and pilgrims visiting the region. In Reasi, the maximum temperature recorded was 37 degrees Celsius, with a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius.
Udhampur recorded a maximum temperature of 36 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 24 degrees Celsius. Meanwhile, Poonch enjoyed the coolest temperatures in the region, with a maximum of 29 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 19 degrees Celsius.
In Rajouri, the maximum temperature was recorded at 32 degrees Celsius, and the minimum temperature was 21 degrees Celsius.
