2 teachers suspended for absence in Kupwara

Kupwara, Aug 5: Authorities on Friday suspended two teachers after their video regarding absence during duty hours went viral in Chamkote area of Karnah in north 's Kupwara district.

In an order, issued by Zonal Officer (ZEO) said today on 05-08-2022, a video regarding late arrival of teacher of UPS Haridal has gone viral on social Media.

“Undersigned visited UPS Haridal and after inspection it is found that two teachers failed to attend the school well in time and arrived late in the school,” it reads.

The order reads that pending enquiry into the matter two officials including Ghulam Mustafa and Gulistan Fatima posted at UPS Harial are placed under suspension with immediate effect.

It added that the salary of the officials is kept withheld till enquiry completion.
