Driver killed in Panthal accident

Ramban, Mar 04 (KNO): A driver was killed after a vehicle he was travelling rolled down into a deep gorge at Panthal area of Ramban district on Friday, an official said.

Official sources told that the driver of a Sumo bearing registration number JK04G-2854 while on way from to Srinagar lost control over his vehicle. The vehicle fell into a deep gorge at Panthal area of Ramban.

Soon after the accident, a rescue operation was launched and the injured was shifted to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, they said.

Sources identified the deceased as Zahoor Ahmad Alaie, son of Feteh Mohammad Alaie of Waripora Baramulla,
