Religious conversions to Islam from foreign-funding must be effectively checked

Sikh community deserves all compliments for being united to vigorously protest against forced conversion of two young Sikh girls in Kashmir to Islam followed by their marriage with already married two Muslim persons having children from their earlier wives. Protest made even Muslim political leaders in the valley like PDP supremo Mehbooba Mufti to express regret on the incident. Brave Sikh community did not leave the valley even though Kashmiri Pandits had to flee from the valley after massacre of 399 Kashmiri Pandits in the year 1990.

Conversion to Islam in India is a well-planned conspiracy funded by foreign elements. Present Central government was practical to legislate Citizenship Amendment Act 2019 to provide Indian Citizenship for persecuted religious minorities Hindus, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis and Christians (non-Muslims) from Afghanistan, Bangladesh and Pakistan rightly ignoring all protests from fundamentalist and pseudo-secular elements. Likewise ground-reality demands that conversion to Islam may be allowed only after strict-most restrictions which may include compulsory endorsement for such conversion from all parents and grandparents. In case of elderly persons, consent from spouse and all children and grand-children may be necessary.

Since many including heavyweights in film-industry and ruling BJP converted themselves to Islam just for a day for enabling second marriage by the husband, it should be made law that persons converted to Islam may not be allowed to have more than wife. Rather it is high time that India may also prohibit having more than one wife even for Muslims.
