12 injured in LPG cylinder blast

Tawi, Aug 8 (PTI) Twelve persons were injured when an LPG cylinder exploded at Gorkha Nagar area here today, a police officer said.

Twelve persons, who had gathered for a marriage function, were injured when suddenly an LPG cylinder exploded at a house this morning, the officer said.

He said the injured were taken to the government medical college and hospital (GMC) for treatment and were discharged later.

A case has been registered and investigations initiated, he said.
