10 nominations filed on last date for Udhampur Parliamentary constituency

Ten nominations were filed on the last date of filing of nominations for Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency before the Returning Officer, Rohit Khajuria.
Those who filed their nominations today include Harsh Dev Singh of and Panthers Party (JKNPP) and Garib Singh, Bansi Lal, Meenakshi, Prem Nath, Rakesh Mudgal, Lal Singh, Martand Singh, Shaber Ahmed and Firdous Ahmed, all Independent candidates.
With this 14 nomination papers have been filed for the Parliamentary constituency.
Earlier, Vikramaditya Singh of Indian National Congress, T R Bhagat of Bahujan Samaj Party, Dr. Jitendra Singh of BJP and Mohammad Ayub an independent candidate had filed their nominations for Udhampur Parliamentary Constituency.
The scrutiny of papers will be held on March 27 and the last date of withdrawal of candidature is March 29 up to 3 PM.
The polling will be held on April 18, 2019. The voting hours have been fixed from 7:00AM to 6:00PM.
