Bhaderwah: The University of Jammu’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Umesh Rai, visited Bhaderwah Campus to review preparations for the upcoming National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) team visit. The visit was attended by senior university officials, including Prof. J.P. Singh Joorel, Rector of Bhaderwah Campus, Prof. Anju Bhasin, Dean Academic Affairs, Prof. Meena Sharma, Dean Planning and Development, Prof. Neelu Rohmetra, Dean Research Studies, Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Registrar, Prof. Satya Paul, and Dr. Ginny Dogra, I/C Director DIQA. Prof. Rai emphasized the importance of meeting NAAC’s rigorous standards and the need for timely completion of all preparations. He also reviewed the campus’s progress on key performance areas aligned with NAAC’s seven assessment criteria. During the visit, the Vice Chancellor inaugurated online access to the Reservoir of Journalism at the campus library and launched the SOUL software for library automation. He also interacted with students of Little Angels School and announced the development of a Children’s Park for the Little Angels School at Bhaderwah Campus. The visit underscores the University of Jammu’s commitment to maintaining high standards across all campuses, as Bhaderwah Campus prepares for a successful NAAC accreditation.
