Traffic on Sgr-Leh highway restored

Ganderbal, Nov 08 (KNO): After remaining suspended for
a day, the authorities on Tuesday restored the traffic
movement on Srinagar- highway.
The highway was closed for vehicular movement on
Sunday after fresh snowfall at Zoji La.
J&K Traffic police informed that one way traffic has been
restored on the road after clearance of snow.
“Traffic plying on -Srinagar NHW. After clearance
of snow from the road traffic has been released from
Minimarg towards sonamarg however Mughal road still
closed,” police tweeted.
Furthermore, an official said that subject to fair
and good road condition, the vehicular movement on
Srinagar-Sonamarg-Gumri road shall be allowed from both
sides viz Srinagar towards and vice-versa
tomorrow.
