Jammu, Oct 19: The women team of Government SPMR College of Commerce won the Badminton trophy in the inter-college competitions of Cluster University of Jammu (CLUJ) held at Government MAM College, here.
The winning team of the college comprised Aena Gupta, Janvi Mehra, Mehak Raina, Arshpreet Kour and Surbhi Manhas.
On their return, the team was felicitated and congratulated by the College Principal, Dr Surinder Kumar in the presence of convenor sports, Prof Shafkat Jahangir, Prof Harpreet Kour, Prof Shipra Gupta and Prof Apfan Ali.
The Principal lauded the team behind picking a competitive side for the annual sports activity thus brought laurels to the institution.
