‘Locals, tourists enjoy sites, click pictures to save memories’

Bhaderwah, Jan 31: As the dry spell ended finally, snow enveloped the famous tourist attractions in Bhaderwah, luring a large number of tourists.
Witnesses told that tourist sites that include Chattergala, Padri, Guldanda received the first snowfall of the season.
The snowfall has brought a unique flavour to the region, providing a magical experience for both locals and tourists. Tourists are quite upbeat about their experience in Bhaderwah.
Upper reaches of Bhaderwah valley including Kailiash Range Mountains, Ashapatipati Galicer, Guldanda, Chattergala, Padri, Jaie Valley, Chinta Valley and Kansar received first snowfall of the season and the plains witnessed rainfall thereby ending the two-month long dry spell.
While tourists were seen enjoying fresh snowfall in Bhaderwah valley, many of them were seen clicking pictures in the snow. “Bhadarwah is the best place to spend holidays. Not only is the place beautiful, but people here are very nice and helpful,” Rakesh Mahajan, a tourist from Maharashtra told.
Another tourist from Delhi, Ritu Devi, said: “We are at Guldanda and due to cool breeze, we are feeling the chill. We are enjoying our stay here as it’s like a fairy tale that we are playing with snow that too on roadside and just 30 Km from the town.”
The Bhaderwah administration has taken measures to ensure the safety of tourists, including clearing the roads and providing assistance to those in need.(KNO)
