Jammu Tawi: Shiv Sena (Bala Saheb Thackeray) Jammu and Kashmir unit launched a membership and awareness campaign with the slogan “Leyke Rahegye Apna Haq” here today. Around 150 people influenced by the policies and ideas of the party joined the party in Arnia.
Shiv Sena Jammu and Kashmir unit President, Manish Sahni while addressing informed that as instructed by the National Secretary and MP Anil Desai, this campaign has been started with the goal of involving one lakh fresh entrants in the party.
He said that not only expanding the membership of the party, the other significant aim of the campaign is to initiate herculean efforts to reach out to the public and raise their voice by highlighting their issues and get the same resolved. Sahni said that along with Jammu , this campaign will be extended to Kashmir , he along with party senior leaders will visit Kashmir on three day tour starting on 23rd August.
He said that Shiv Sena has taken the initiative to completely end the decades old discrimination against Jammu and get the agenda of development, economic progress, employment and restoration of peace in the Jammu and Kashmir.
Those who joined the party were Basant Ram , Pankaj Kumar , Raj Kumar , Gulashan Kumar , Darshan Kumar , Ranjeet Sing , Janak Raj , Yashpal , Rampal , Sandeep , Parshotam , Aman Saini and others.
President Mahila wing Meenakshi Chibber, Gen. Secretary Vikas Bakshi, Vice president Balwant Singh , Sandeep Bhagat , Secretary Geeta Lakhotra , President RS Pura Balbir Singh, Tarsem Lal , President Arnia Parveen Kumar , Raj Kumari , Pooja Rani। Meena Rani , Sudesh Kumari , Surinder Sharma were also present on the occasion.
