Jammu Tawi, Dec 7: Locals staged a protest at the newly established Toll Plaza in Sohanjna on Ring Road Jammu on Saturday, voicing their concerns over the toll charges and the impact on their daily commute.
The protestors, including local residents and commuters, gathered at the toll plaza, expressing frustration over the unexpected imposition of toll fees on the newly constructed road. They claimed that the toll plaza would add an additional financial burden on the people of the area, many of whom rely on the road for daily travel to work, school, and other essential activities.
Protestors demanded a review of the toll charges, with some calling for the toll plaza to be removed altogether. They argued that the area should be exempt from such fees due to the hardships faced by locals.
