    Police seize 2 vehicles linked to illegal narcotic trade in Srinagar

    Srinagar, Dec 5: Jammu and Kashmir Police have seized two vehicles— a Corolla and a BMW— allegedly acquired through the proceeds of illegal narcotic trade in Srinagar.

    The seizure took place under FIR No. 36/2024, registered under sections 8/21 of the NDPS Act at Police Station Chanapora. The vehicles were confiscated from Mudasir Ahmad Wani, a drug peddler from Stadium Colony, Chanapora. According to police, the action was taken under the provisions of the 68 NDPS Act, which targets assets obtained through illicit drug trafficking.

    The Jammu and Kashmir Police reaffirmed its commitment to combating the drug menace and dismantling the infrastructure supporting narcotics trafficking.
