Pak Army sees Kashmir solution in UN resolutions

Date:

Tawi, February (KIP): Pakistan has started attempts at befriending
without abandoning its support to militancy and Islamabad
sponsored proxy war against India. However, India has treated the
latest House arrest order against Hafiz Saeed as an act of dishonesty
despite the fact that Islamabad wished to restrict movement of Saeed
to appease India.

If the latest statement from the Army in Pakistan is any guide
there does not seem to be any change in the attitude of Pakistan. Even
the Army statement smacks of politics as it wants to promote peace
which could be possible if the two sides resolve all the issues
through bilateral dialogue.

Pakistan wants peace with India and resolution of all issues,
including , through talks on the basis of self-respect and
honour, the army has said

The Pak Army too wants the Kashmir issue to be resolve via
United Nations resolutions and dialogue, but this desire for peace
should not be misconstrued as a weakness,” Military spokesman Major
General Asif Ghafoor  has said.
He said Pakistan wants resolution of all issues through talks on the
basis of self-respect and honour.

By hold India responsible for ceasefire violations Pakistan is
least bothered to promote cordial ties with its neighbor. India is
working on a plan and that's why it staged a drama of surgical strike.
Armed forces and the people are ready to respond to any misadventure
by India,” he said.

India claims that its forces last year conducted surgical
strikes in Pakistan administered Kashmir, targeting militant and
destroying their training camps.
Ghafoor said India committed 945 ceasefire violations across the LoC
and border over the past three years.

The Pak Army statement is based on lies according to New
Delhi.India has made it clear that  the Indian Army retaliated
whenever Pak Army resorted to ceasefire violations. There was nothing
wrong and it was retaliation with force and fury that silenced Pak
guns on the border.(KIP)
