Militant shot at Cop In Bijbehara

Srinagar- Militants shot at and injured a policeman in Bewora area of Bijbehara in 's Anantnag district on Sunday, officials said.

An official said that militants shot and injured the policeman in Bewora area of Bijbehara.

He said that injured cop was immediately evacuated to SDH Bijbehara, with gun shot wound in his leg, where from he was referred to 92 Base hospital in Srinagar.

The injured cophas been identified as Firdous Ahmad Bhat son of Wali Ahmad Bhat of Hugamand

The official said that area has been cordoned off to nab the attackers
