According to Director MeT, Dr. Mukhtar Ahmad, the weather is expected to remain generally hot and humid on July 9-10, with scattered rain and thundershowers across the Union Territory. Brief spells of intense rainfall are also likely at a few places in the Jammu division.

For July 11-12, many areas are likely to witness one or two spells of rain and thundershowers, while isolated locations in the Chenab Valley and Pir Panjal range may experience heavy rainfall accompanied by intense showers.
