‘Kangana faced obstacles in Emergency making'
Ahead of the release of her much awaited directorial Emergency, Kangana Ranaut opened up about facing hurdles during the film's production. In a recent interview with a leading daily, the acclaimed actress revealed that she encountered opposition from certain quarters while assembling her cast and crew.
Kangana stated that certain casting directors and cinematographers declined collaborating with her on the project. She further added that some actors were allegedly advised against signing up for roles in her film. The nationalist star mentioned feeling fortunate to have on board talented performers like Anupam Kher, Satish Kaushik and Mahima Choudhary despite the apparent conspiracy against her.
Working with her Emergency cast was a extremely rewarding experience according to Kangana. Not only did the actors agree to be part of her ambitious political drama, but they also treated her with utmost respect and affection throughout the shoot.
