Justin Bieber brought down the house with an electric live performance at the sangeet festivities of Industrialist Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s wedding celebrations. Videos from the star-studded event show the Canadian singer belting out his biggest hits like “Baby” and “Peaches” and getting the audience dancing along.
Dressed in a casual outfit, Bieber took to the stage at the NMACC venue in Mumbai and kicked off an upbeat show featuring his chart-topping songs. He engaged the crowd with his lively energy on stage and had everyone singing along during the concert. Another clip shows the pop star jamming with popular social media personality Orry, a highlight of the night.
Bieber arrived in the city specially for the Ambani function and flew back soon after his performance. While the guests at the sangeet clearly enjoyed the international star’s set, reactions on social media were mixed – some praised his stage presence whereas others felt his music did not quite match the vibe of an Indian celebration.
The sangeet saw many other celebrities set the dance floor on fire as well, including power couples Alia Bhatt-Ranbir Kapoor and cricketer Hardik Pandya’s wife Natasa Stankovic. Sports stars like MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and others also grooved to Bollywood numbers along with the Ambani family. Anant and Radhika are set to tie the knot on July 12 in Mumbai at a grand ceremony.
