The pre-wedding festivities of industrialist Mukesh Ambani’s son Anant Ambani and his fiance Radhika Merchant are in full swing. And for their sangeet ceremony, the who’s who of Bollywood and high-profile guests came dressed to impress. Isha Ambani Piramal, sister of the groom, made heads turn with not one but three exquisite couture ensembles.
Topping the best dressed list was Isha’s modern take on a sari by iconic French fashion house Schiaparelli. Styled by celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, the electric blue sari was the first of its kind created by Daniel Roseberry for Schiaparelli. Inspired by acclaimed royal Rani Sita Devi of Kapurthala from the early 1900s, it featured a structured blouse and heavy embellishments. Isha completed the standout look with statement jewellery including a layered neckpiece and maang tika.
Isha was also seen dazzling in couture by top Indian designers Falguni Shane Peacock and Manish Malhotra. Her FSP lehenga boasted intricate embroidery, tassels, pearls and multi-colored gemstones on a silver blue tulle fabric. Manish Malhotra designed an asymmetrical blouse adorned with emerald Swarovski crystals for Isha’s silver lehenga. Her makeup and hair were kept minimal yet striking to let the ensembles shine through.
